Rooting Help

Hi,

I'm googled eyed from trying to figure out a way to root my phone... i ended up here so hopefully you guys might be able to help...

Phones is a replica Samsung Galaxy note from china also know as an Android A9220 Details below;

Baseband Version: MAUI.11AMD.W11.37.SP.V17.F1,2012/03-20 18.09
KERNAL VERSION: 2.6.35.7
BUILD NUMBER: alps.gb.fdd2.mp.v4.5
CUSTOM BUILD: 1334918224

Oh lordy... just a search on the site and me thinks i'm in way over my neck... doesn't seem as easy as first thought

Welcome to the forums, Sharon.

Those Chinese versions can be different and problematic when it comes to rooting. I was tempted to move your thread to the Note All Things Root section.. but decided that could cause you to try the methods posted in there and end up in trouble with the device.

Here in the Android Lounge (for now at least ), some may recognize your issue/device and offer help. The thread could end up in another more helpful area ("Other Devices," etc) later on. Take heart, hang in there, we'll get things going for you.. may take a bit.
