Root rooting htc dream 1.5

I'm Mo from South. Africa, Cape Town.
I would like to know how to root my htc dream and install cyanogen and have FROYO on my dream.

Could someone please assist, I know I'm rather late as the dream is old...
Please direct me to. Genuine sites where I can download. What's neede...
