Rooting ICS 4.0.4

on 3 UK
Android version 4.0.4
kernel version is given as 3.0.15-1114882dpi@DELL163#3
Baseband: I9100NELP4
Build: IMM76D.XWLPY

An interesting guide bigbosa!

I have never tried this personally but cannot see why it should not work. Indeed, this method of rooting has been questioned on this forum before and I would like to know the definitive answer.

If you do not feel confident about this, then try Rooting Galaxy S2 - Dummies Guide.

Thanks for your reply mate . yep it did work :) bit the bullet this morning and went ahead. One thing to note ,maybe its common but my battery drained super fast after I left home .from 100% to 15% in a couple of hours tops.also phone seemed hot during this time. Rebooted since and hoping all is well.
Now to decide which ROM to go for now ... any suggestions?

Battery performing ok now after reboot
