Nope, nobody can help you. In fact, everyone just walks out of the room when you walk in, just because. (just kidding!)
I'm guessing that the mods just moved your post to the "Optimus T - All Things Root" forum. You'll find plenty of help here, and we won't even look at you funny. At least, not to your face, that would be rude.
As much as I like Robert's response, it doesn't help the OP. I am no expert but I suggest this method to root [How-To] Root, Recovery, ROM without touching a computer - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com (supposedly this method is outdated but it worked flawlessly for me in October 2011).
When you get to step #2 (Recovery) the recovery-RA-GNM-OPT-T-test.img.zip won't be available. I used recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img from this link recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img
Just be sure when you are typing in commands for step #2 that you change recovery-RA-GNM-OPT-T-test.imgto match the file you downloaded instead (recovery-RA-GNM-thunderg-1.1.0.img). Other than that it should be smooth sailing.
