I've had my s5 for a year now, and I've tried every rooting application I know of. I currently run 5.1.1 on my phone and I don't know what to root my phone with. Please help

Depending on what version/carrier/firmware you have it may or may not be possible to root it. The latest Verizon firmwares are unrootable.
