Rooting problems - HTC Wildfire

FR0Y0

Newbie
Alright, so let me begin. I've been trying for the whole day, problem is - I cannot root my HTC Wildfire. I tried multiple ways, used all kinds of methods.. I will explain what happened in each of them.

REVOKED method
I watched all kinds of YouTube tutorials and ways to root my Wildfire using this method. I did everything it said. Turned on USB Debugging, connected my phone with PC but it couldn't recognize my Wildfire. Here is the image:

Then I tried:

Universal Androot

When I tried rooting my phone using this app, I simply got this message:
FAILED NO FU GOO

------

And of course, I tried:

Z4ROOT

When I did this, it automaticlly crashed on my HTC Wildfire + I've heard that there's no way I can root my Wildfire with this permanently..

So, I'm asking now, what should I do? Can anybody help me? I tried everything...

Thanks!

If you're so smart then, tell me what wrong have I done..

I'm not here to hold your hand. I also have no clue where you didn't follow the instructions.

However, I am a competent and capable person who can follow directions, and know where to look for them. Learn to Google and troubleshoot. Otherwise, don't mess with the inner workings of something you don't understand.

Okay, you busted me! I haven't installed the drivers. And that's why my unrrevoked method doesnt work? Can you link me up with these drivers and explain me how to install them properly?

They are all in the link I already included. I won't help you brick your device any more than I already have. This is a simple follow the instructions problem. I'm sorry for coming off like an ass, but if you can't do that, you shouldn't be rooting.

I just found out where's the problem.. I'm running 2.2.1 Android, and it's impossible to root 2.2.1. I would just like to know..

IS THERE ANY WAY TO DOWNGRADE TO 2.1?
