Root Rooting, ROMs, and OTA?

Well, I started yesterday off on Kin3tx and tried to apply the .901 leaked radio. I mucked it up and ended up with a brick. After swearing and panicking, I finally calmed down enough to read through and use R3STOR3 and FOR3VER ROOT to get back to the 5.5.866 system with root. After that , I realized that I could take the .893 OTA and did!

Now, I'm stock on the latest official OTA and everything is working, but here's the part I'm unclear on even though I've read up trying to figure it out. I did a CWM backup, but if I go to one back to Kin3tx do I loose any chance to get back on the "official" OTA path or can I just pull up my nandroid of stock 5.5.893 and keep on trucking when I need to? Enquiring minds are confused!

Thanks much!

I would flash a clean kin3tx to be safe. I believe that you can restore your stock backup and do the next OTA. Make sure you have forever root done first. But as always when it comes to OTA's you should wait to flash it until the developers get a chance to look at it.
