Honestly, the stock rom is awesome on the N7 and personally I don't think all the bells and whistles are necessary for this. I run Bugless Beast because I encountered some lag after the 4.1.2 and that fixed it for me. But BB is as stock as can be. On my GNex, I like the bells and whistles that JBS and others offer
I agree here, the stock ROM seems pretty good. I don't need all the other config and settings that some of the customs allow, at least so far. I have custom kernel and recovery (CWM touch 6.0.1.5), but everything else I just leave as is. This is on my 16GB, but did just have the 32GB delivered from Staples last Wednesday, have that unlocked and rooted and stock recovery. Going to wait for the OTA for 4.2 (Nov 13th? - we'll see) and continue on from there building and modding that one to see what might be.....
