Root Rooting the Moto 2 2015 2nd Gen

I could use some instruction on doing this please. What do I need to get going on this? Thanks in advance.
 
I found a download site and downloaded to my computer. Installed and then connected the phone via USB. Went to manual check the build number and it said did not have that number in system. Not sure what to do now as I was afraid to go ahead with the rooting process as I might brick this phone. Any suggestions?
 
Maybe Does not exist any application with one click to root for this model or wait for the people of kingroot develop root in one click for our device, sorry...
 
If you have TWRP recovery, you can just flash the SuperSU zip from the XDA forum. That'll root it.
