Root rooting the TF700t question

so awhile ago i was reading that when you rooted u lose some kind of privilege, thus not allowing you to watch videos on netflix. is this true? if no what are the step to rooting and where are all the roms at?

I haven't run across anything that I could do before rooting that I can't do after rooting.

There are some apps that are deliberately disabled if you're rooted, maybe HBO Go. Like Podivin, I haven't run into any.
