Hello Varun,

If I get you a partial extracted stock ROM contents (not as a whole ROM but its partial contents including its directory structure) as it is inside the device, can you find out a method to root the device? Or by going through that contents can you guide me to root my device? This extracted content amounts to some where around 238 MB if I compress to a RAR file it comes to around 139MB. If I upload it and give a link to you can you get the rooting method for the device?

I have flashed Micromax A78 with A75 files wrongly.

Now the phone starts but display is dead and don't know if it is bricked.

Thanks to vshlkmr for his A78 rooted post in this forum. Do I have a chance to recover the A78 by following this rooting method by vshlkmr?

What could be the problem, What can be done?

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hi friends......i was browsing Micromax website and guess what??????our A78 model is no more listed on the official website..even in support section they have not mentioned A78 any where.

ok... so i have been toying with my rooted a78. here are a few things i would like to share:
1. use mtk-cpu control for overclocking the device. (Max stable speed: 770 or something)

2. Internal storage free: 73 MB

3. Free Memory: 18-36 MB (limitation of the phone )

4. Cant remove/configure the default screen lock.

5. THis one is specifically for NINADCHAUDHRY:
Phone currently suffering with Screen freezing after unlock problem. Want to use this solution. Already created gold card. i can't boot my phone into the bootloader.
so anyone Kindly help me how to proceed further. how to enter bootloader.
