Root Rooting without flashing

I'm new in this forum and registered to ask this question:

Is there any possibility out there to root my Motorola RAZR XT910 WITHOUT installing any customized ROMs and keep all apps, appdata and settings

Rooting your android device will not change you phone in any way except give you superuser status, witch allows you to make admin changes not usually allowed without root access.

i know that i will get admin rights, but some of the tools require a factory reset, i thought.

there are also some custom-roms (zergrush,...) included.
i don't want them.

so how do i root without installing them??

There is no need to flash anything if you ROM is supported by the root method. Both 2.3.6 nd ICS have working root tools without flashing.

I can assure you that you do not need to Factory Data Reset your phone just cause of root. I am rooted and stayed stock. I don't flash any roms. I use it to freeze bloat and back up with Titanium back up. Also I use AdFree, to get rid of the ads on apps.
