Rooting your NEO3DO

A customer and Neo3Do user sent an email in saying he had success rooting his device (which is not recommended) using Kingo Android Root

Has anyone else tried this or another way to root the tablet?
 
Hi I rooted neo3do with kingo worked fine.

was hoping i could solve the auto rotate issue that happened with the latest firmware with specific software, it didnt work, i still have to hold the device at 40degrees to get it to rotate landscape.
 
I tried over clocking to make some of the more gfx intensive games smoother and so make some 3d games run quicker (where have the 50 odd 3d games gone since firmware update)

Overclocking unsuccessful possibly needs a customs kernel. Underclocking certain profiles has extended already good battery life.

With the newest firmware - including the aml_autoscript you should solve any auto rotation issues.

TriDef has not delivered the finished app with more android games. we are still working on getting more
