Ok i wanna root for all the good stuff but i am soo new to this and i am so nervous to do it! whats the best method to do thiis? i just hear of people ruining there phones due to bricking! whats the chances of it happening to me?
Very very low. I have yet to heard of a case where the phone become bricked just because it was rooted. Just use an update.zip file. That's probably the safest way.
Just beware of what you do after rooting. A lot of people install lag fixes after rooting their phone, which is usually what screws things up.
Sorry, this may sound dumb, but how do you know whether your phone is rooted or not? I tried rooting mine but am not sure if the attempt was successful. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
