RootMarket

Who's "they"? Google? They don't mind root, but I don't see why they'd want to split the Play Store, or why devs wouldn't end up submitting apps to both (to catch the people who didn't know there was a different one).

Someone else? Free to do so if they want.

Personally I'd rather have one place to look for apps, and if an app requires root then as long as they say so clearly in the description or title to avoid unrooted users wasting their time then I see no problem.

Well I just said they as in anyone but I thought it would be kinda convienent to have a market for root apps and have it in categories and stuff.

Weren't the guys at Cyanogen going to do something like this? Whatever happened to that?

I can sorta see why it would be handy if they had a root only section on Play, but I don't really use that many root only apps.
