Help Rsetore HTC One M7 after wrong flash

Hi Android friends,

Hopefully somebody can help me with a littlbit more knowledge about restoring a HTC One M7.
It's driving me nuts for the last couple of days.

Ok,
The HTC One is stuck on Android 5.01 and it doesn't get an update to Marsmallow so i tought to upgrade the phone with Root/CM13 adn messed up my phone.

What i did was following these steps: http://htconeroot.com/htc-one-root/how-to-root-htc-one-windowsmaclinux/
After following these steps the bootloader was unlocked succesfully and installed twrp and SuperSu version v 1.65.
After restarting the phone i had an error message that SuperSu stopped working and the phone freezes.
After another reboot i've got the same error message but the phone was working ok, still on the original HTC Rom.
To get rid of the error message i thought it was agood idea to put a newer version of SuperSu on the Phone and flashed it whit version v 2.46.zip.
After that the phone restarts and keeps loading the HTC screen for hours(without restarting)
Since that moment i tried some things to get it fixed but unfortunaly with no result.
What i tried after:
- Clear cache (in twrp and with ADB
- Relock the bootloader
- 2 attempts with a RUU file from the HTC site. (signature error and version error)
- Restore with fastboot-signature failure.

I'm not a hero with progamming but maybe with some help we can save my phone.
If you have any idea how to get my phone working please feel free to share your knowledge.

Yeah, it looks like that tutorial was telling you to use an old superuser package (even the "newer" one in their written instructions is for an older android version than you have). Annoyingly the tutorial didn't include the most important advice: once you have installed TWRP, use it to make a backup before you try to flash anything. If they had had the sense to tell you that then you could have just restored the backup and your ROM would be back to working. Amateurs...

Have you tried a full factory reset (cache and data) as well as the cache clear? Long shot, but worth a go.

Which RUU did you use, and what is your phone's current software version and cid? If you don't know the cid, you can use the fastboot command "fastboot getvar all" and look for the "cidnum" in the output. If you bought the phone through a carrier then your carrier and country should tell us that, but the cidnum is definitive. An RUU only works if the cid matches and if the software version is at least as new as the current phone software, which is why it's important to know this.

However, another possible way of recovering is to just flash a new ROM: you were intending to do this anyway, and as it overwrites your current ROM it doesn't matter whether that is working or not. And a custom ROM will be pre-rooted, so you don't have to worry about that either. To flash a ROM you need to download the ROM .zip, copy it to the phone (go into recovery and use adb push to copy it to the phone), do a factory reset from TWRP, then tell TWRP to install the zip. There's also the "adb sideload" command which should copy and install together, but I've never used that. You could try this with the CM13 you were thinking of trying, or else one of the many other ROMs (Lollipop or Marshmallow) that you can find here.
