RSS feed notifier for Ebay item alerts

bobsofi

Lurker
I use RSS feednotifier on my desktop to alert me immediately of ebay items that I want on Buy It Now. It checks every minute, and pops up and alerts me. Sometimes the good deal Ebay items sell within 5 minutes, so notification time is important.

I want to set this up on my android phone.

Anyone else have this going?

ok, to expand on how needed this ap is

say you want a specific android phone, and you search ebay, and you find that it sells for between $100 and $300. You notice that some "buy it now" listings sell within minutes of posting for $100. How can you get that cool android phone for $100. Well you can set up a search to $100 max, and manually refresh it every minute, all day long, or you can have an application do this for you, and alert you when it gets a result. I use feednotifier on my desktop and it works great. But I am not always at my desk. I do have my android phone always on me.

I need this application

I am looking for exactly the same functionality. I have been missing on an item that was posted several times in the last month for the price I want, but it was already sold by the time I got a chance. There is an android app called greadnotifier, but from the pictures and description, it doesn't seem to have the ability to set a folder or a feed to monitor. Besides, with such low number of downloads and no reviews, I don't want to even try it, for the fear of malware.
