This is a known and ongoing problem. Google is aware of the situation and as said that they are working on fixing it. In fact, I'm having the same problem on my phone.

I hope they'll come up with a fix soon.

I have an HTC EVO 3D. This affects most if not all Android devices. I've noticed this problem for awhile now. I even reset my phone thinking this would have fixed the problem.
