Personally I don't like this style but I know it will be good for some people. I don't like having to use one of my ethernet ports on my router for a device such as this to work. I currently have VZW and that is how my booster for VZW is. It connects to my home broadband.

The Samsung one I have for Verizon will not connect over wifi. Not only that, your router has to support QoS and VPN passthrough.

^^^not all Tmo phones have wifi calling built in.

I would think all t-mobile branded smartphones have wifi calling now but there's a substantial amount of BYOD customers on t-mobile that don't have the capability.
