Rumored Specs

I have been waiting for the Rezound price to drop after making up my mind to get it some time ago. I certainly have not heard any definite no-no's about it but this phone maght be worth considering instead of the Rezound.
I currently have a Dinc2 and am not dissatisfied with HTC. I just don't know much about the LG smartphones and their construction. I have had a couple of old time flip phones and they were all pretty rugged.
Any suggestions or comments concerning HW or SW for this unit vs. HTC?

Check out the Nitro to see if you like the build quality because it should be fairly similar to the Spectrum. The Nitro has a great screen, IMO. I like it better than the Rezound and Gnex. So if the spectrum has the same screen I think it beats the rezound.

So far, the spectrum has a bigger and better screen, an up to date processor and a bigger stock battery than the rezound. So it's going to be a tough choice with the Rezound's price dropping, HTC unlocking the bootloader and I believe HTC uses the best cameras on mobile phones. Also, HTC seems to have a better track record in the smartphone making biz than LG.

I can't wait to see the reviews on this phone.

One difference that I have seen between the Nitro/Rezound vs the Spectrum is the processor type. Same speed but the Spectrum uses a newer SnapDragon chip set. This should help reduce heat and power consumption.

How do you know Spectrum has newer snapdragon? I think it's the same S3 1.5Ghz dual snapdragon in Rezound. Except for camera, I think Spectrum still has edge over Rezound.

I have owned the Nitro for about a month with no case/screen protector, and it doesn't even have a scratch. The only negative regarding build quality would be that the top has a cover over the micro usb (doesn't bother me at all)

Well the description on phonearena says it has the S4 but on the spec sheet it saya its a S3. So maybe you're rt about it having a S3.

Nice hands on review. Looks like a great phone but I'm afraid the battery life will suck. Will be interesting to see how ungainly it will be with the 3040 mah battery.

Seems to me like it ought to have the best battery life of any LTE phone yet, as it has the highest capacity battery, as far as I know.

3040mAh battery? where did you see that? Its standard battery size is 1830mAh and I didn't see extended one yet.

It does have a weak a a$$ battery.. I have one since launch.. I think they need to come out with a OTA control juice lost? Or, is it the all might LTE?

Weak compared to what?

Other than that how do you like it? I tried it in the store and it was fast. Screen not as bright as my Bionic but much better color and resolution (obviously).

I think it's pretty good otherwise.. Had a Lg 8000, that phone was kool. I call Lg to tell them some things to tweet.. L O L One thing I liked on the Bionic was that, your download off market were alphabetical in order.. On the Spectrum, out of order.. The speed is fast. Haven't had many calls to check the sound of the call.. Stay tuned.. I want to add this, what you guy's think of these Ex. battery's? For me, they jack up the phone with the size.. But, they work for what you need.. The Bionic had the best size not to jack the phones shape. P.S. They don't even make a cover that fit's Ex. battery? Right or Wrong?

the extended battery fron verizon cmes with a cover for it. Now cases im sure will be a diff issue. Only bad thing about the phone for me is the the lack of accesories, but to be expected i guess with the phone being so new. cant wait to get an invisable sheild and an otter box for it.
