Running a widget

I've read that Tasker can only control shortcuts (via autoshortcut), and cannot control a widget toggle. Is this 100% true? I downloaded an Asian app that converts widgets to shortcuts but it didn't work for me. I'm trying to get Tasker to press toggles that came with various apps. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You could always try making it do a screen touch. On the position of the widget?

Some widgets apps may provide a hidden ashortcut to do what you want. Download quick shortcut maker (free) to discover what shortcuts are available. From tasker auto shortcut, select quick shortcut maker, then fnd the short cut you need
