The rumor seems to be that it is corrected in 8.1. If Moto Z2 Force ever gets 8.1 is the question.

Well I know it's going to get 9.0, so hopefully that'll take care of it.

The permeant icon in the notification bar is now gone. This is what I found to be most annoying.

I am waiting for 8.1.

I have the importance of that notification set to low so I don't see it when I have apps full screen and when I pull the shade down it is compressed into a smaller bar hope that helps until the Android 9 update rolls out.

Funny ever since I installed focus bot, the notifications flood like wild fire over there, and never ontop unless pedometer mostly.
