Root Running ginger Villain....

for about 3 weeks now, I love its quickness and the app drawer is visually impressive. However after looking at a few suggestions for clock/weather widgets (as the default ones suck) I downloaded Launcher Pro along with Beautiful Widgets which I thought was pretty sweet. After an hour of messing around with it, it never worked again. So I'm still stuck with the boring green clock.
Also noticed with Ginger Villain that when the screen locks and i push the power button to unlock again sometimes i get an unresponsive screen or blank screen which forces me to hard reboot. So seriously thinking of changing it, dont think I want to go down the sense option think i'm done with it, MIUI keeps popping into my head. But when I go to xda there is three options to download XJ's version... Think i'll just download the top one and see how it goes.

I duno if this was a rant or a review or anything just felt like typing it up...lol.
 
I didnt mate, it works fine then some things dont work on it for me like the above. Also one thing I miss is my facebook contacts showing in messages and contacts which doesnt work either. My facebook account is apparently synced but not showing pictures which leave a grey square where a picture should be. Gonna go try MIUI here to see how she fairs out

I have to use syncmypics from market as well as the facebook app to get all my contact pictures.
Same on all the GB ROMs that I have tried.
Sense seems to be a lot more reliable at grabbing and updating Facebook contacts.
 
Well going to give MIUI a go here to see how it fairs out in the process of installing hopefully I did everything ok and it should work.

Ahh F*ck installed the wrong one cant understand anything lol.
 
Learning Chinese sounds a lot easier:-/ It gives me United States English as a language but still in things are still in Chinese lol. Stuck in a fresh 8 gb card aswell looks like the old card is going back in fs.
 
Right F it, I'll just stick with Ginger Villain, so can some one help me with the clock and weather widget I miss it from LeeDroid:(

What? no! go to miuidev, put the rom and language pack on ya sd card, flash the rom then straight after (wihout rebooting after flashing the rom) flash the language pack, i havent found anything yet thats not english. its all under "roms", including the language pack, im currently running that rom and its really nice, battery is all over the shop atm, but itll settle in a few days
 
So its download the deodex chinese download then download the language pack underneath? I'll give that a go cheers. Does Titanium backup work, if just transfer it from my laptop to a new memory card? Just so i can get all my apps and texts an all:)
