Running out of space

I have a Samsung A30, I am located on a military base with no access to a computer so I can't flash to a stock rom, but I need to do the best to solve this problem:

I have to reset my phone every few hours, when I power it on it shows 40Gb free, after 1 or 2 hours it shows 30Gb free and after a couple hours it runs out of space.

Developer options are enabled on this phone, OEM Unlocking, USB debugging, verify apps over USB and multiple PBAP Properties.

Also, Magisk Manager is installed.

What could be causing it or what could be filling up my space?

What does the phone say is using the space?

All you've told us is that the reported space decreases rapidly, and that you are using modified software. That's not a lot to go on. Logically the explanations are:

1) something is generating a vast amount of data and storing it on the phone. This could be a symptom of some other problem (e.g. a log file filling with a torrent of error messages) or could be a rogue app (though it would pretty much have to be written with the intention of doing this, or coded by a complete idiot).

2) something is constantly downloading and storing crap (should show up in data/wifi usage as well as storage)

3) there's something wrong with your system menu and it's reporting a problem that doesn't exist (the least likely).

So the first step is to look at the phone's storage settings and see what it thinks is using the space. Look at your apps, sort them by size, and see whether any of them look huge and rapidly growing (which could indicate that the app is downloading or generating data by the GB). If this doesn't give you enough information, try a better storage app (I quite like DiskUsage) and see if you can identify the culprit.

what custom rom are you on? do you have twrp installed? there should be a list of all apps taking up space. it should be found in your device's settings.
can you post that?

I dont know wether twrp is installed or not, how do I check?

No app is taking that much space, whatever is causing it just ate up 3gb in 1 hour, could it be something like a log?

I'm so bored with this and I have no access to a computer.

Magisk Manager is installed, Developer Options enabled, this is not the stock rom definately but I need to solve this as for the next 6 months I wilm be here doing army stuff with no access to a computer.

I got the phone as it is from my brother in law.

I already knew you didn't root it yourself. No offense but you jumped in head first with a rooted custom rom . I have a rooted Note 4 n910p , custom rom, TWRP recovery, a permissive custom kernel, CPU overvlocking and .......
Having a rooted device is power. The power to create and the power to destroy. If you're unfamiliar with how everything is set up or the terminology. Safe Mode, TWRP, Nandroid back up, busybox binaries, R/W access, mount... You should familiarize yourself with these terms.

ok just an fyi a rooted device is not very secure, especially if you have sensitive data on it.

one thing you can do if the phone is rooted is to download titanium backup i would also recommend purchasing the pro key as well. with tb you can freeze system apps. if your phone still runs smoothly then you can start deleting system apps using a file explorer app that can grant read and write permissions.

as for your storage issue. do you have an sd card? where are your photo's stored?

DiskUsage shows system data keeps growing but it wont let me browse it.
Try this:

System Settings | Storage

You should now see a list similar to this:

Scroll down to something using a lot of space; I'll do 'other apps' for my example:

Press the 3-dot menu and select 'show system':

If the list isn't already sorted by size, do that [from the 3-dot menu].

Do you see the culprit?

Mr. @ocnbrze has an excellent point. Rooting is by definition obtained threw security exploits. Be very, very careful what apps youvgrant root privileges. Not only for security but it could also cause conflicts between two or more rooted apps. If one says rais the clock speed and the other says lower the clock speed or whatever the case may be, you're going to have issues .
I suggest you start denying root privileges to all the apps within Magisk. Then start researching what does what.
