Under application settings, what exactly is the running services. Right now, my phone is showing android keyboard, gtalkservice, and MailService running for over 25 hours.
They will start up again themselves. Pretty much anything that is running in there is necessary to something else. It's not really something you should be too concerned about. They're basically just associated with Android system processes.
