Apps Running the applicaiton in real device

Hi all,
I am new in Android application development. i have installed android studio and created a small Hello world applicaiton. I just need to run the applicaiton in the real device. when i tried that, i am getting 'Device cannot be found' message. Can anyone help me in this?
