Help Running Warm?

Is it just me or does the D2 Global run warm? I'm guessing that's due to faster processor?

Yeah the D2Global is overclocked with stock voltage (medium). My DROID 2 runs at the same clock speed but the voltage is ultra low. So that would be the reason mines stays cool most of the time while a D2Global (stock) would heat up.

Under what conditions? Warm is fine, very warm or hot can be expected with Navigation, streaming music with the screen on and extended web browsing/flash with any phone.

You want hot, my D1 made it past 142F on an occasion. No good. The D2 at Low (not ultra low) at 1.25 doesn't get too far past 90's, but I really don't look at the temp under load anymore because it's much cooler than the D1 overall.

Every smart phone I've had so far has gotten warm to hot while in use.

What's to hot for a D2 to get? Mine got up to about 118 F while using nav the other weekend.

I would say too hot is when it shuts itself off, like you're laptop or desktop does when it isn't properly vented.
