There may be a few reasons out there to use the RUU (Rom Update Utility). The main one, according to popular posts, is to return the phone to stock for whatever reason (likely returning the phone).
However, there seems to be a lot of confusion as far as how or why to use the RUU. I wanted to create this thread to help sort things out. So in this thread, I will be posting different RUU links with explanations with them as to why that RUU version. I will post a quick guide to using them, and I will post different reasons as to why to use the RUU.
I don't have all this information, and have had a hard time sorting through it all. But I do have two Boost RUUs that I will host via my DropBox. But if you can contribute, please do.
Here is what I'm hoping users can help contribute:
-Links to different RUUs for any carrier, so long as its any of the Kingdom devices (USCC Hero S, Sprint EVO Design, Boost EVO Design).
-FAQ type information.
-Reasons you would, or have, used an RUU.
