Root RUU Unroot help

Hi, I am trying to unroot so I can get the stock OTA update but everytime I try to install the RUU I get this error "Main version is older! Update Fail!"

I put the PG86IMG.zip in the root of the sdcard but it does not seem to work. Can anyone help??

Are you running the RUU? Are you on Windows?

Why are you trying to RUU if I might ask? Perhaps there's a way we can get whatever you're trying to accomplish done another way?

RUU on windows failed, gave me some error. So I tried the other method in this thread http://androidforums.com/evo-v-4g-a...evo-v-4g-ruu-flashing-guide-unroot-guide.html The second method also failed with the error I mentioned above.

I am trying to get the new OTA update and then reroot again. I do not want to do S-OFF

ok i got it working, not sure what was wrong but just deleted the file and reuploaded it back to sdcard. thanks for the help
