S health Data Sync

it's not rooted. It's a brand new phone.

troubleshooting steps followed
1. Reinstalled gear plugin on note 8
2. resetted gear s3
3. All data/calls r getting synced except s health all data (steps, heart rate, floor count ). I receive all notifications on my gear s3 .
4. Syncing was proper with my s7 edge . Issue started with note 8 .
 
Just to let you know. I have the same combo and both are Verizon Branded and I haven't had any issues with syncing.

I know this doesn't help you one bit, but it does let you know that the pair do work together.

One thing I have noticed is that every time I open S-Health, it syncs and all the values update, which tells me that syncing occurs periodically not constantly.

I have seen this issue with other devices, but thus far not this combination.

if you have some background services disabled or apps disabled that were shipped with the phone (or you have an aggressive battery saver mode) this can also cause issues.
