Help S HEALTH data transfer

BCE

Lurker
Hi. I dropped my S5 yesterday and initially is was fine, just a small crack but the screen slowly went darker and eventually completely black, I assume the LCD was affected. I have gotten my old S4 up and running again. I connected the S5 to my PC and copied all the data onto my computer and then onto the S4. I was hoping and praying that somehow the history or my workouts (on S Health) for the last few months would transfer across. But it hasn't and I really need to get it across. I was halfway through a running program that it offered taking me through a step by step program on running and cant afford to lose it. Please can someone help with this. is there any way I can get the S HEALTH history from my blank Screen S5 to my S4?

Log in on S Health on the S5, then log in on the S4 and wait for it to sync. Use the cloud via your Samsung account. Copying files via a PC file explorer won't copy app data.

Thanks, but I am unable to use the S5 at all. The screen is completely black :-(
So heart sore that I have lost all the data, it was hard work getting it all on there

Did you get SideSync installed on thr S5 ever? Or used it? If not then those data are lost.

Take it as a lesson learned and start over. Sign in always and sync to cloud if available on the app. Install sidesync on the phone and use it. So that if your phone screen ever becomes broken, you can still remote control the screen via a PC.
