Help S Memo hides top line

If I type a short message in S memo, one or two lines, then save it. When I then open the memo, the toolbar at the top of the page hides my message and I have to press the up arrow to have the tool bar move and make message visible. Is there any way, other than starting my message several lines down of preventing this. Thanks for any thoughts.

That's why I use AK Note. Works much better.

I've recently installed "Google Keep", which I gather is new. I'm impressed by it and like the fact that it keeps everything in the cloud - I gather it will soon be linked in to Google Drive.

s memo is one of the worst apps i've ever used. seriously, who designed an app like this that hides the top rows of text with a toolbar every time you open it?

I initially thought I must be doing something wrong as it seemed to basic an error. Yes it is pretty unbelievable that this has not been corrected. Cheers
