Help S-Note bug

I have issues in S-Note when using the Text tool. Every now and then when I go to select a word in a line, instead of selecting the word it overwrites it with a copy of the previous line of text I inserted. For example if I enter

This is an test
There is a bird

and then go to select the word an on the first line, it changes it to

This is a bird test
There is a bird

(I think that is what happens, I've resolved to be more precise in thinking about what happens next time, but this is pretty much it)

If I close the s-note and go back into it and it fixes it.

Does anyone else have this? It happens several times a day and can be annoying. Any suggestions? I've logged a query on the samsung site

Would you happen to be using Swype Beta by any chance?

I encountered this bug, noticed it only happened on Swype, and not using the stock Samsung keyboard.

Turns out my Swype was two updates behind (then running 1.4.0.11523) and checking the changelog reveals a fix for this.

Updating to the current 1.4.9.13905 fixed it for me. (I had to uninstall, reinstall and reactivate Swype Connect, since the built-in update function just sat there with no indication of progress.)

Don't think so, I've never heard of it. Is it something already installed? I haven't downloaded it
