S Note or other ideas?

I am new to both these forums and my Galaxy Note 10.1. I'd like to have an app that I can make to do lists, etc on my tablet, and also access them from my Windows desktop. Any ideas? I like the S Note app, but don't think I can use it on my desktop (from what I've seen).

Any text editor on the tab and Notepad in Windows if you don't need formatting and fancy fonts. They'll both read and write the plain text you'll be using.
