Ive had my Evo V for a week now and I wanna get my moneys worth. I wanna do the wire trick but i dont know what kind of wire to use. Can someone tell me what kind I should be using?

I just used a paper clip wrapped in scotch tape, but I took the incredibly lazy route. I would use at least electrical tape. Or if you have an old cable somewhere that would work too (ethernet cable, etc.).

I used a piece of coax that I stripped the ends off of. I saw some dude did it with a bread tie... lol

I used a jumper wire, but really it could be any wire as long as it has the two ends exposed and the middle insulated (where you're going to hold/touch it).

I cut wire off an old charger and stippped it. Lets hope this works!

Problem. I'm stuck on the waiting for device to settle command. Its been like 15 mins. Is tht a bed sign?

shouldn't take that long.. what does your screen look like???

Omg he battery fell out and now I'm stuck in bootloader. I tired runningit again but it says critial failure and nothing in bootloader works.
