s off is here for those that truly want it.

JTAG is a method of rebuilding a bricked phones partitions by using special equipment with the processor in a special download mode. radio secure flag can easily be turned off in this process.

MobileTechVideos is now performing this service. granted its not for everyone,as its not free,and it does require you to send in your device.

I have to wait until I get a SIM card adapter for my spare rezound. Wouldn't ya know the DNA and the rezound doesn't use the same size SIM card. :( :mad:
 
If it works out well, I will probably get mine done. Just have to find a spare phone to use while it's away (don't have a backup at the moment).
 
You can still do it. I am htcdev unlocked also.

Best thing is,with s-off you can get rid of the relocked watermark :cool:

Its also easier to change CIDs... First thing ima do is superCID and flash a European RUU :D
 
I use the new One S for 1 week. I already place order for the N4. I just wish I make up my mind. Kicking myself.
 
just a small update... got a notification yesterday that the one s had been recieved,and the process would be complete,and the device shipped within 4 business days. i dont know if monday counted,so it should be on its way back by friday :smokingsomb:
 
Another update: order status was changed to "completed" then later to "shipped". Shortly thereafter,tracking numbers arrived. Hopefully have it back before the weekend :D

i couldnt be more pleased. communication from mobile tech video was good,the service was preformed within a couple days of receiving it,they shipped it back out quickly,and it arrived in the exact same condition it left in. no noticible marks on the phone from disassembly,all my data is untouched. :smokingsomb:
