Root s-on/off

HI guys,

I've had this phone, evo v, for about 3 weeks now. I rooted it but it's still on the s-on flag. I was under the impression that rooted phones would automatically toggle to s-off. Is my phone properly rooted or is this normal? Should I switch to s-off and if so, how do I toggle it to s-off? Thanks for any info. Btw, I love this forum, I've learned so much.

Yes, it should say s-off. I've flashed all three of my HTC Who's using the revolutionary tool. Search it up, real easy to use. I would give you a link but it will take up to much time to do it on my phone.

Revolutionary doesn't work with our hboot.

You have to get s-off with the wire trick after rooting.

You cannot use Revolutionary on this phone's HBOOT I believe. Go here and read the entire thread before proceeding. It is a pretty easy process, but be patient and follow the instructions.

Sorry guys. I think I should have read exactly which phone this was for. Thought it was for the regular HTC Evo 4G.
