Hi Guys,
I am really sorry to bother everyone with this, I am at a loss at the moment. I have read through every forum and could see clearly this was the best place to post.
My HTC Desire is rooted with what seems to be the old method of Unrevoked. I did this some time ago and loaded the latest version of Cyanogenmod. I now need to revert back to the stock Froyo so I can sell the phone on.
The steps I took were:
1. I booted to ClockWorkMod and wiped everything.
2. I then run an install of the Stock RUU for O2 from the Shipped ROMs website. Link: (Shipped ROMs)
3. I then plugged the phone in with HTC Drivers loaded and HTC Sync uninstalled, clicked through the wizard and it informed me that it will flash from image version 2.14.207.3 to image version 2.14.207.1.
4. It then went through the process of erasing, installing and gets about half way when a triangle comes up alongside the progress bar and it fails with Error 110.
The phone is now stuck in Fastboot with S-ON and no ROM to boot to. I am unable to access ClockWordMod Recovery as the option is not there.
When the USB cable is plugged in I get a black screen, white HTC logo and 4 triangles (one in each corner). When I unplug the cable I get the following:
BRAVO PVT1 SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.93.0001
MICROP-031d
TOUCH PANEL-SYNT0101
RADIO-5.11.05.27
I have read a lot of forum posts and I believe I need to flash my HBOOT back to stock from the CM7 with AlphaRev. I also believe that I am correct in thinking I cannot do this without making the phone S-OFF. I have tried everything including Revolutionary to try and get the phone to S-OFF so that I can flash the HBOOT and then hopefully re-run the RUU.
The problem I have is that it seems none of these programs work in Fastboot, which is all I have. Do you think I am screwed?
I am sorry if I have missed anything out, I hope I can get some good news. Even if I need to put Cyanogenmod back on I need help to do this.
Appreciate you taking the time to read, please let me know if you need anymore info.
Cheers
