Accessories S-Pen colour

I'm finding it to be very sensitive: it's easy to select things that I was actually trying to swipe past. Is it possible to have an S-pen that works too well?

EDIT: I contacted the seller, who is shipping out another one. This one is fine most of the time - but intermittently, it will select whatever it's pointed at. Can't swipe through options when it keeps selecting things! I'll keep you posted.

Mine is definitely a Samsung s-pen as it came with my phone straight from Samsung and it is also rather sensitive and often selects when I am just trying to swipe past things. It is quite frustrating but I live with it. Does that make you feel a bit better?

Well, I discovered that the gold replacement is NOT IP68. It did work in the pool, but it got a little squirrelly about swiping and selecting things afterwards. So I've parked it for a few days to give it time to dry out, and I'm back to the stock S Pen...

I lost my S-Pen.
Samsung said they support one loss under warranty if I supply the Vat Receipt.
I spent 2 weeks requesting this from the Amazon vendor to no response.
I asked Amazon to request on my behalf. No response.
I reported the company for not providing the VAT receipt needed to get my £40 pen under warranty. Amazon refunded whole cost of phone.

I ordered the pen from Samsung. Wrong colour arrived next working day (I actually want the black to match the phone).
3 days of support calls and I got the refund organised as correct colour replacement not available.
20 minutes after courier picked up the wrong pen for refund and emailed that refund in progress correct colour pen arrived as replacement.
Next day Samsung offered me a £120 voucher for my woes.
Dex purchased.

£925 for losing a stick.

Oh, and any S-Pen not bought from Samsung directly is not real. They only sell via their online shop or accredited high street franchises. I established this while first talking to their shop and parts teams independantly.

Anything from Amazon, Ebay (unless obviously second hand because the phone was run over) or any other online vendor is likely to be fake or factory theft from the manufacturing reject bin.

Good grief! There's the money for the Note9!

Kudos Amazon! They are very good about refunding any order that I call to complain about, sight unseen. I have to admit, they take very good care of their Prime members!

BTW 19 days to go until the Unpacked Event!

I cleared some debts to allow me to save more for the folding phone. Note 9 doesn't give me enough extra for a worthwhile upgrade.
I only got the 3 because I killed the 2 forgetting to back up the modem files and upgrading to a point where the EMEI was lost. It's now a tiny tablet.
The 3 headphone jack filled with water requiring me to go to the 4 (5 didn't have expandable storage and 7 not out then thankfully). Found the 4 for £39.99 due to decimal point pricing error so have done quite well.
Lobbed the 4 to a friend cheap and the 3 sits as a kitchen timer running the S7 OS with a battery life of 2 weeks with no SIM and wifi disabled. Now fit to be re-enabled as an emergency phone if needed.

Well, you definitely know where your towel is!

I'm looking at the Galaxy X - but really... 3.5" folded? That's great if I want a shirt pocket phone - but if I want to do anything other than look at the time or answer a call, I have to fold the thing out to a usable size. I'm not sure why Samsung would go to the trouble for a phone that small. Now if the X comes out with a 6" body and folds out to an actual tablet size, I may have to recalibrate my bank accounts.

You still have that decimal point I can borrow?

:p

I do indeed know where my towel is but thankfully have never encountered the ravenous Bugblatter beast of Trall.

Unfortunately the decimal point location error is estimated at a finite probability of 800 279 7234 to 1 against.

I am a shirt pocket phone keeper but would wait for something the size of the note that opened out first.

800-279-7234? Is that the toll-free number for the restaurant at the end of the universe?

Back on topic here, I've ordered three cases for the Note9, so the Unpacked Event had better be good! I'd hate to think that I bought cases for a phone I won't buy...
