S-Pen template. Total newbie!

Hi, totally new to the Android system. Just got a referb Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8013-EA16ARB wifi 16 GB. I am atypical - don't do games/watch tv or those types of things. Will use for e-mail, and some web surfing, but mostly for the note taking for my business.
I am a dog behavior consultant and am trying to make myself more efficient.
