S planner automatic reminders

Each time I set up a new event in S planner, I have to manually add a reminder which is pretty annoying because most I like to have a a notification for most events I create.

Is there anyway to set up S planner so that each time I create a new event, the reminder field is automatically set to 15 minutes?

I'd also like to know how to do this. Does anyone know? I have a default reminder time set - but still have to add a reminder to each event.

Well that's odd. S Planner on my ICS Galaxy Tab has a reminder on automatically that I have to manually remove every time if I don't want one. And I can't see settings for it.
Are you syncing to Google?
