S Planner, Google Calender and Outlook failing to sync

Hi, im hoping you guys can help me. My Dad has a Samsung Tablet currently running 4.4.2. Previously his calender between S Planner and Microsoft Outlook on his PC would sync. However for some reason now its not and the calender on Outlook is blank. The one on S Planner is full (thankfully). I try to sync on both the tablet and outlook but nothing happenings. I dont know whats changed and why it isnt working. Any help with this would be great. Thank you in advance.

Hello and welcome to Android forums. Was your dad by chance using Google calendar sync? That stopped working as of August 1st.

^^^^ wot they said! There's a thread here about using hotmail to do the sync on this forum if you still want to use the "cloud". If you just want to sync "privately" (i.e. directly from PC to phone) look at MyPhoneExplorer - app on the phone, client on the PC.

He may have been. Is that something that installed on windows? The other strange thing is that when i go onto his calender on Googles website, his events are not there. His settings on his tablet seem OK. But something must have changed?
