S voice for S2

The S2 comes with voice talk & the S3 has S voice - does anyone know how different they are? For example can you now send email , answer calls? The previews suggest it is possible to activate everything by voice command, including activating the application, is this so?

I've found S voice as a download, has anyone downloaded s voice on an S2? Do you need to be on ICS to do so?

Check the links on the developers forum....it will only work on ics cos the s3 is on ics. I can't get it to work yet though add I think it conflicts with the voice command and I'm unable to disable it for some reason!....well cos I'm not rooted! Lol

You can't activate S Voice using the "Hi Galaxy" command as it requires code that's baked into Touchwiz on the SGS3 apparently.

This isn't my info, just what I've read. The "Hi Galaxy" command definitely doesn't work on my AOKP ROM anyway. Nor does double tapping home.

It works with my bluetooth headset though, which is the only time I will be using it - when I'm driving!

I managed to delete voice command using Android system app...once I did this I was able to instal the a voice app. Seems to work pretty well, as you say I don't think it can be activated using the double tap method but once I open the app hi galaxy etc works fine :-)

Sorry to post in an old thread. I just can't find an answer.

is S-voice incompatible with Jelly Bean? I'm on Resurrection Remix JB build and when I download the hacked versions of s-voice the regular installer will not even let me press install, so I use the installer workaround that came with juice defender. It starts to install the app then just stops and says "application not installed". Tried a bunch of times with different downloads and still the same result.
