S Voice is annoying

first post - hope this hasnt already been asked...

my s-voice likes to turn on semi randomly all the time. every night when i got to sleep and wake up it turned itself on. everytime i connect to wi-fi it turns on. sometimes it seems to trigger by hearing ambient noise. how do i make it so it only turns on when i actually want it, like when im driving i do actually use it?

That's putting it mildly. Advice? Ditch S Voice COMPLETELY and use Google Now.

I am having the same issue.
I can not figure out why s-voice will not activate if I say "Hello Galaxy" instead of "Hi Galaxy"; but it will activate randomly when I am having a conversation with someone. I think it has even activated from tv commercials.
Is there a setting that I am missing?

That would make the big 'G' a woman. Seeing how there is no god (or gods) this only could offend those that revere a male deity (the Abrahmic mono theistic religions). I can see no reason not to shout "Hi God" and my phone say "What would you like to do." Almost worth going to a prayer meeting to do ! (or perhaps not - when a pub is near by)

I've tried to disable it but it seems to just come on again. Any ideas how to shut it off for ever. Google now is a better option for me
