S-Voice N3 Vs S-voice SGS4

The note 3's one blows the SGS4's out of the water. My N3's is V11.2.0.0. It wakes up if I shout it across the room from a locked N3, and has up to now not once failed to recognise what I ask. It is sat next to me now and without picking it up I have just asked it successfully call my sister, never had to pick my N3 up.

My SGS4's version is 11.0.0.1. It has never worked properly from a sleeping phone as it should, only occasionally working properly after a reboot and then only once, and no way can it "hear" me without me actually looking at the phone from not more than 40cm away. This may be a microphone differnce only, but I doubt it.

Finally S-Voice is useful, and the N3's version knows better jokes - try it !

I'm told that you can change "Hi, Galaxy" to wake up the phone into something else. I've seen this asked a few other times, but I haven't seen any solution yet. Would you know? The settings for "Voice Wake Up" is there, but I can't see how you change the words...

Oddly enough you can on the SGS4 but the option is missing from my N3.

Obviously the wake-up call has to be "Computer" in a Scottish accent.

I don't know either, but the microphone grill at the bottom of the N3 is far larger than that of the SGS4's. Maybe it just "hears" better?

I think you're confusing the speaker grill with the mic hole?

I am. The mic hole is tiny. The speaker is next to the S-pen slot.
