Lurker
Hi,
I am the proud owner of a new Galaxy SII which is a fab phone but I can't make the wifi hotspot work.
Am trying to use the phone as a wifi hotspot to set up my laptop.
Managed to set it up on the phone, managed to get the laptop to recognise it and the laptop says it is connected. All fine there.
But when I go to open either Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer on my laptop NEITHER will work. They say they "cannot find server".
Please can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to fix this?
As soon as I switch off the wifi hotspot and plug in a mobile broadband dongle into the laptop Firefox and IE connect straightaway so I know it's not a problem with these browsers.
Would be very grateful for any help on this to get me up and running.
Thx in advance!
