Help S2 on JB, no connection to Wi-Fi

Hi new on here.

My S2 started acting up yesterday, it dropped the connection between itself and the Virgin Router, Despite rebooting both the phone (battery out) and the router (turned off) it keeps dropping the connection.

The phone is in a case which has a screen cover, so no inadvertent button pressing, and I have not changed any setting and it connect OK if I input the router password.

The phone originally had ICS on it, but had to go in for repair as the mic wasn't working properly, it came back with JB on it about 2 months ago and seemed to be working fine.

I'm a bit concerned as the phone is about to run out of warranty very soon.

Any ideas please.

Thanks, No I didn't try that, what does that entail and how do I do it, would I lose any apps or anything else.

I gave up and took it back to the dealer, lifes too short and all that.

Sory for the late reply and I see you gave it back

well factory reset means you reset the phone to the way it was when you first got it so yes you have to get a backup on your pc first cause you will lose contacts, messages, any apps installed but not stuff on your EXTERNAL SD
