Hi all,
Just got back from holiday. Whilst on hols I switched the phone to aeroplane mode to save battery life. It was all fine, battery at 51% after two days. Then the next day the phone was dead. I went to put it on charge and it won't charge up.
Whilst connected on the charger the camera area of the phone gets hot. The battery indicator occasionally flicks up showing an empty (flat) battery.
The battery is flat, not bulged. I have tried to put the phone into recovery mode but it won't do that. I have removed the battery for a few hours and then put it back in.
I have yet to connect it to a PC USB port as I don't have my lead with me. I could throw a multi meter onto the battery terminals if that provides any light on the matter?
Dead battery? Or knackered motherboard?
Cheers,
Glen.
