S22 voicemail always plays on speaker

I ue the Verizon voicemail app to listen to voicemails. Lately when I have a voicemail, it always plays on speaker phone. I click on the speaker icon to shut it off but it stays on the speakerphone for everyone to hear. Anyone else have this problem?

clear the app's cache and see if that helps.

Stop using the Verizon voice mail app and use the phone instead.
