Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaasssse help. :(

Ive had my Samsung S3 approx a year without any problems.

For about a week the battery has been draining very quickly. I read this was quite common in this forum so bought a new one.

I also cant get the internet on my phone now aagh. It now works (but previously didnt) with my wifi at home but anywhere else i cant access it at all.

My battery came today, popped it in my handset, it was already up to 75% but I charged it to 100%.
Phone been sitting idle in standby for about 10mins and its already dropped by 15% so its obviously not the battery.

I havnt downloaded any new apps, or anything new before these two problems surfaced.

Could they possibly be linked and have you lovely people got any ideas at all how i can get my lovely phone back to how it was?

Ps very slow charge too.

Hopeful Heather.

If there's no signal, so the phone is constantly searching for one, it's going to drain battery pretty quickly. You can look in Settings/General/Battery (press the graph at the top) after the phone's been sitting idle (with the screen off) for about an hour and see if it's almost never awake (at the bottom of the screen). Unless you're doing something, the phone should almost always be asleep. If it's awake a lot of the time and there's no mobile signal, that would be the problem.

Or, since this phone is new, bring it to your carrier's store and ask if they could tell you if you're doing something wrong to drain the battery quickly.
